Artificial REAL ICE IN 24 HOURS

Building Ice Rinks In A Day Is Six Steps Away

Our modular ice skating rink system will arrive pre-assembled, so set-up for your artificial real ice rink can begin immediately. Our team will extensively support and review with you what the set-up will look like both before and after once it has begun operating.

STEP 1: FOUNDATION

Laying the rink's foundation is the first step to establishing the rink's necessary substructure. The pre-requisite is a hard and level surface, which our team will surmise and discuss with you during the site survey.

Ideally, think sports courts and parking lots!

STEP 2: WATERPROOFING

Once the foundation has been laid, a foil layer is secured over the foundation. Special sheeting and aluminum profiles will reinforce the base of the rink, which is now also waterproofed.

STEP 3: ALUMINUM ELEMENTS

With the foundation and rink base established and secured, the aluminum floor system can now be unfolded for assembly. The floor modules and cylinders will be connected and altogether linked to the chiller, which serves as the freezing mechanism. Glycol, the biodegradable coolant, is then pumped from the mainframe through to the aluminum elements.

STEP 4: RINK BOARDS

Installation of the rink's perimeter boarding will begin thereafter and serve as barriers for the basin that holds the ice.

STEP 5: WATERING

With the rink boards now frozen in place into the ice, water is now added to fill the basin.

STEP 6: LAYER BY LAYER

The filled basin of water will begin to freeze around the aluminum elements, which is expedited by the aluminum's conductivity. And within 24 hours, the ice will grow and be ready for your first patrons!
